Kinda funny with Lenore leashing the white Lab, while I am leading Caleb as we walk the beach.

Lol.

Thanks Judith!

Gonna be quite a transition for a born/raised city gal to be making a move out here! She says she is ready, and she means it! Funny, she'd been selling, packing, and giving away stuff before we met...felt Yah telling her she was moving away. Ironically, I just filled the front yard of the cabin with building materials to do an add-on to the cabin! Funny thing...when I first met her my first thoughts were "shoot...she's way outta my league". She told me her first thoughts were "I could see myself marrying that guy..."

Maybe we can have a sort of women group on here where we can teach this city girl to garden; can produce, make wine and stuff. :)

Thanks y'all! Had a great little ceremony...Brad took the reins and kept it minimal as possible...and somehow made the more traditional (think parents/friends) attendees happy at the same time! Had it been just Lenore and I, the Presense of Yah and two witnesses would have done it!

Anyways...what a blessing! :drinks:

WHat!?!? AWESOME!!!

Congratulations, brutha! All prayers and blessings for you both!

Marriage is a journey, challenge, and blessing all in one! Would never change a thing! I thank Yah everyday for the beautiful and amazing wife He sent me who this thick-skulled, knuckle dragger doesn't deserve! :s_biggrin

:drinks:

Thank you all! Ya' know what? She didn't even blink during the fire. Lol. She was cookin', bakin', and cannin'! She's doing all the work, while I'm runnin' around with my shofar! I asked her if she wanted to go to our friends place 'til the threat was passed..."no, if you are confident we will be OK, I'm fine".

No doubt! Interesting that while Eric Bissell was here for a week, we had talked about shofars. He likened blowing our shofar to not only an act of obedience showing that "Yes Abba, we are listening and doing as you tell us to do", but with the shofar blast in time of trouble as a reminder to Him, that we have obeyed, and we need Him to respond now...and urgent cry to Him.

Well, I'm not one to have any doubt about that. Who really needs fleshly weapons when we have even a mustard seed and a shofar? My next purchase will be a silver trumpet.

Sounds like the kind of person one would want by their side in good times and in bad. :good:

We were listening to authentic shofar blasts online during feast of trumpets and it gave me an inexplicable emotional reaction. My soul was deeply stirred by its sounds... Does that sound corny? lol.

No, it doesn't sound corny! When that shofar blows, it feels like every cell in my entire body hears it and reacts! It reminds me of how Elizabeth's baby leapt for joy in her womb upon being in the presence of the as yet, unborn Messiah.

It's a feeling of coming alive, attention, joy, and down to business seriousness, desire to repent, hungry for Yah's presence....so much goes on inside!

I know people who can't stand the sound of the shofar. The reaction they have is to run, to want to block out the sound, and even anger/irritation arises. They want to shut off the sound as fast as they can. That kind of reaction is heart breaking...
