The Jer. artichoke roots. Do they have to be planted right away? Or will they keep in the basement till spring? I can see me try to grow them indoors. LOL We have large over hangs around the cabin so windows don't seem to work great, though they work. I have a large South facing window (patio doors that we don't use, that does the best. That would be pretty if they would grow there. I have 5 gall/buckets.

I'd plant them between now and March. In spring, they'll seem sl.ow to sprout. At first I thought mine were all dead. Then around mid or late Mauk they started to come on and just took off.

Absolutely not. Put them right out in the garden or wherever you want them to be permanently. Don't worry about snow cover or anything else. As long as you can dig in the soil, you can get them in....they'll be just fine.
