I'm so sorry, Judith. I too lost my only brother a couple months ago to a hang gliding accident. Man, it hurts.

I'm sorry Temu. I didn't know you lost your brother, my deepest condolences to you and yours.

In my opinion, loosing a spouse and loosing a sibling are very hard loses. I can't compare the loss of a child I've not experienced that with my born, living/grown children. I lost unborn children but i think that's a bit different.

Anyway, a spouse has a connection like no other, and a sibling is YOU. Like a deck of cards that's been shuffled over and over resulting in a different order of things to make a different pattern, but it's the same deck of cards. So, you loose a facet of yourself because each child in the family is ..like that deck of cards...and is a facet of you, and your parents. Your own personal identity is connected to your siblings. My brother and I were very close as I was like a second mom to him. I was 10 when he was born, so he was MY baby.

I guess they aren't going to do an autopsy since no signs of foul play existed. He did have a few health issues which could easily have taken him, but I personally am concerned about suicide. We all knew he would likely be next after mom.

Gosh I'm going to miss him! We talked on the phone quite a bit.

I'm sorry to hear about your brother, Judith. Prayers for your comfort and peace... Terry, condolences for your bro. He seemed like such a cool dude, just like you...

Folks are dying these days... my uncle was buried last weekend. I still think about my daddy who left a couple of years ago now.

No matter what, I love you folks, and I hope to see you and YHWH face to face together one day...

Thanks again, Tejas...sorry to hear about your uncle. Damn. All this surely makes us all long for the day when all tears will be an event of only this current life.

Condolances to you TJ.

Uncles can be pretty special people, too.
